The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) is preparing a decision document for a drought management plan for Flathead Lake, Montana. The BIA’s goal is to comply with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) in the development and review of a DMP that creates a fair and equitable balance of water during drought periods and meets the requirements of Article 60 of the Kerr Hydroelectric Project license.
